I'm not sure what to think about that the letters were unopened, it made me a bit uneasy. looking forward to and are scared of the finale next week 😂

SO MUCH TO UNPACK!!! Like in "Mr. Universe", you were right neither one of them were wrong. What Greg felt was valid (and maybe his parents were overbearing to a toxic degree, we don't know for certain) and Steven was right for calling Greg out. Greg clearly loves Steven but that doesn't change the face he was negligent. When you're a kid it's hard to have perspective on that but now that he's grown, Steven has no choice but to recognize that. Greg was his last lifeline, and he let Steven down. It's so painful but necessary for Steven to see this now. Then there's "Fragments".......... OH MAN! This was the absolute worst thing for Steven to do and now it's just another trauma to add to the pile. He NEEDS a healthy outlet for his emotions but that includes having help from someone with the emotional maturity to guide him (Jasper was never gonna be that). Steven has fallen into the cycle of abuse that led him to where he is and I think he recognized that when Jasper called him her Diamond. He's tried so hard to not be his mother that he ended up becoming the worst version of himself. I swear, Game of Thrones should've had Rebecca Sugar and her team work for them if they wanted a "villain origin story" for one of their protagonists. If I didn't know any better I'd say this show would end with Steven being a full-on villain with no chance for redemption. But that's not how this story works. I definitely think he'll be the big-bad at the end (this basically confirms it) but he'll be saved. I'm just not ready for the emotions it'll make us have. Okay, rant over.

Yeah, its hard to tell his parents feelings about everything. I almost wish we could have got more. The letters were concerning and I'm not sure how to feel on them.
