The pink haired guy is supposed to be Saiki from The disastrous life of Saiki K. There were also characters from other anime and manga. The guy with the blonde afro is the main character of Bobobo bobo bobo, the guy with the blue hair is Kuroku Tetsuya from Kuroku no Basuke, and the girl in pink is from a manga called Switch Girl. They do this stuff from time to time in anime, an author will do something like this with people he's friends with. Yu Yu Hakusho did something similar when they had a girl in the background who looked like someone from Sailor Moon, though in that case it's not friends it's husband and wife. Kinda like how Justin Roiland has done a few shootouts to Gravity Falls on Rick and Morty because they have been friends for a while. It's a cool little thing you noticed.
