One of the interesting things about this series is that it was originally proposed as an anime back in the 90s, the manga itself ran from 88 to 95. In fact in the 2011 Hunter X Hunter adaptation there is actually a reference to it with Migi on the cover of a magazine someone is reading which took place before this adaptation was released as this series ran from 2014-2015.

Oh yeah the whole bathroom scene made me think of Kumail Nanjiani's story about using a urinal that is hilarious, if you've never seen it you should check it out.
