Actually One Punch Man was a webcomic originally, then Jump bought the rights and cleaned up the art some made an improved webcomic and then after it's popularity grew made it a manga. Just the production story alone is fascinating and unusual. The author One, that's his pen name, actually has another series too called Mob Psycho 100. Both series have become pretty popular with both series having 2 seasons of anime. Mob Psycho 100 is definitely worth checking out as well. Though tonally different both series feature overwhelmingly powerful protagonists who tend to be kinda realistic in the way they spend a lot of time being concerned about day to day normal stuff, though in Mob Psycho 100 it's psychic ability (plus Mob is the main character's name hence the title) and well I'd say Mob Psycho tends to be sillier and more lighthearted. The art styles have some similarities at times.
