It seems every-time I go on vacation some major world event happens... last time it was Covid.

I'd like to ask evereyones permission to donate some of the income from this months Patreon to go to Global Giving, who is providing clean water and food to Ukrainian refugees.

In return we'll be doing a donation drive sequence of images. Anyone who'd like to donate extra feel free to in our name or send the money over and I'll add it to the pot:

We made a big different to an entire village in Africa two years ago when we helped built them a well with The Water Project, now it's our turn to help out again.

Let me know your thoughts and if you have any ideas on what this growth sequence should be themed as. I want to say in a propaganda style of Isabelle taking on Russian forces, but that might be to on the nose for current events.

I'm on board for donations from this month, and I'll be donating to whatever drive you do!

No complaints here.

From what I've heard, the Russians army might need that food and water more. But give it to the Ukrainians to help encourage Russian surrender.

I think it's a great idea!

A splendid use of funds if ever there was one. Not to be greedy but can we get a pick of an absolute gigantic Isabelle handing out supplies or just sitting at the border of Ukraine with a stop/turn around sign?

I was talking about images with the rest of the JAW team and we agreed it could be viewed as tacky to do any images involving the conflict itself. We'll do a generalized thank you image soon for the donations but humor and growth silliness shouldn't be used when actual humans are being hurt. We will do a growth drive soon for The Water Project again, since thats a more upbeat topic.

Good idea. A friend of mine always teases me about bad stuff happening when I go off for downtime. She teased me a bit about it being my fault for not being a superheroine to Ukraine. I told her that I'm just not that big. But, seriously ... we all support the people there.
