Burning Hot Summer Night Rough 2 (Patreon)

Ok I know, plots take a page or two to set up. But here is the last non growth page. Let's see if you guys can guess where this is going ;)

Page 2

Panel 1-4: Dave launches into a dramatic retelling of the local legend, full of gestures. These can be loose panels or one big area with the story kinda playing out. Have fun with it. The bottom two panels can be small to make room for this.

Dave: Long ago… on a night, just like this… a fire was sparked.  No one knows what caused it, but the brushfire men acted fast to try and save the forest. Cries of “Fire!”, “We need more water!” and “It’s burning up!” rang out.  One fireman got separated and before he knew it he was surrounded by flame He tossed his bucket of water, but it did nothing to quench the blaze. Suddenly,, a flaming tree came down on top of him.  The others never found his body.  And it’s said... on hot nights… if you say something’s burning… he appears to quench… THE FIRE!!

Panel 5: Isabelle has a blank look on her face, Wiggles is covering his face with his paws.

Panel 6: Isabelle sighs.

Isa: Well that sucked.
