Eternal Champions was Sega of America's big attempt to join the ranks of Street Fighter II and Mortal Kombat - it rode in on an ocean of hype of 1993, but was never quite able to deliver on its promises. Nowadays, it has a pretty terrible reputation...let's see if that's fair!
