This actually would help jimbei to a degree because we are shown mermen can use something akin to fishman karate and if mermen can use it them mermaids should to so now she has a move set with more variety.

Well why not he was a fishman and what better way to make him a woman then to make him a mermaid fishman mix. I think it works plus it fits that this pink mist makes those it changes stronger. With the new tail she could move under water even better and use a mix of fishman karate and the martial art we see some merman use.

Man, this is just the week for sucky tfs. Jinbe lost his legs, which means he's now thrown off balance, horrifically limited in his mobility and his new ass means nothing. That pink fog is the worst thing to happen since the world government.
