Option 1:

Side note the guy goes from a white skinny guy to a dark skinned Amazon of a woman.

Of course, this lamp was purchased at one of those creepy antique shops that wasn't always there. As such, the lamp zaps his friend and turns him into a genie that exactly resembles the hula dancer on the lamp. The newly-turned genie then turns to the birthday boy and seductively asks her new master if he has any other wishes.
