A quick update with where I'm sitting on Lyla's Curse.

Currently I'm still on the beginning stages of the game, concepting, asset creation, writing the story and working out scenes.  As you're most likely aware, this stage is pretty time consuming.  I have a clear vision of how the game will play out and what features I'm going to incorporate.

I've begun setting up the coding framework in python as well.

M primary focus for a demo is to create and finish the prologue.  I'm focusing solely on the assets I need for it.

I'm not that experienced with animation but I do want to make a very animated Lyla, she won't stand around using the same sprite, I'm drawing various gestural expressions along with facial expressions with each outfit as I feel it will add to the atmosphere of the story.

One setback I've hit is that I've decided to throw out all of Lyla's sprites.  They just didn't sit right with me and I decided to go back to the drawing board with her.  Since you'll see her the most, I want her design and look to be perfect.

I'm so excited creating this game and hopefully you guys enjoy playing it and watching my progress :)
