Announcement and the future of my novel (Patreon)

Before anyone asks: No, I'm not dropping my story and I'm not quitting.

With that out of the way, I'm sorry about the one day delay of today's chapter. Yesterday my mother was hospitalized and while it ultimately turned out to be no big deal, I still had neither the time nor the interest to finish my chapter.

In general, with all my work and other real life issues, I've been writing a whole lot less than I would have liked. As a result, I feel like my writing has actually suffered. While I like the current book in general, the fact that I have no real buffer anymore means that the early chapters don't adequately lead into the later ones... since I have the habit of tweaking my stories quite a bit mid-writing.

While this might not sound like a big deal, I don't want to bring you something sub-par. So, I decided to finish this volume (until the end of the banquet) and then take a break from regular chapters, until I have built up a buffer again. Patreon will still get updates, since I wanted to be more chapters ahead on here anyways, and I might sprinkle a few more side stories and such in whenever I have the time.

So yeah, that should mostly be it. If you stuck with my rambling all the way to here, thank you for that and I'll see you next chapter.
