What to expect from the upcoming months =) (Patreon)

Hello everybody!

In this post I will share a little about what we intend to do in the future for the year 2024 and onwards, for our existing resource packs and also for new projects =)

You may have noticed that Polybrick stopped receiving weekly updates, and this happened because I thought it would be important to hear from you if you want me to continue its ongoing development or start another project instead. The main reason for me to make this decision is that it is the least downloaded pack among the 3 that we currently have and thinking from the side of you supporters, I believe that I can invest the time I spend on it in something that you will be more satisfied with. Leave in the comments what you think about this, your opinion is very valuable!

In addition to intending to continue with the development of Archaic and ModernArch as normal, we will also introduce subpacks — also known as addons — that change specific textures in a thematic way, such as a pack of different armors or even mobs and blocks, so that you can customize any resource pack however you prefer. The first addon we are going to add will be very simple but very useful: it will remove the custom models that give the leaves a bushy appearance to increase performance. You can use it with any of our resource packs and it will be completely optional. We will also revisit some old textures from our resource packs that don't fit very well with the quality standards we maintain today.

I also want to announce with great pleasure that we are developing our own game! I won't go into details for now, as development is still in the early stages, but I will share an image of one of the scenarios already present (*2nd image in this post). This will be a horror game with very interesting gameplay mechanics and I'm sure you'll like it. Keep an eye on our Discord server for more news soon. *Everything in the game is still subject to change.
