OC - Jubilith & Luminiel (Patreon)

Reference sheets for two brand new original characters of mine! Here's a short bio of them:

 JUBILITH - The Fallen  a.k.a. Juby

LUMINIEL - The Angel  a.k.a. Lumi
• the ultimate girlfriend you wish you had
• #1 optimistic nihilist
• lowkey tired & in need for TLC, pay attention & take good care of her damn 

Here are some sketches featuring them in their early stages of design! (WARNING: There's a wee bit of spoiler look to Luminiel, keep this a secret between us alright ;> )

Jubilith was originally from my CREATE A GJORL OC CHALLENGE event on my Twitch channel last month, where my viewers decide what design I should go for in creating a character. The far right design was chosen to be the one, but somehow I didn't feel the mojo in this look. I figured I should do something about it, I have to make sure Jubilith will be an OC I can be confident to create more content related to her and share around!

A trip to the cafe with my brand new sketchbook was all I need to kickstart my inspiration juice, what a rejuvenating experience! Instantly I feel that click with Jubilith's design so well that I figured she could have a really cute girlfriend by her side. Hence, the creation of Luminiel!

I always wanted to channel some surreal angelic vibes into my character design, somewhere on the line of Peter Mohrbacher's fantastic works. Upon her first draft I can feel that I'm going to love this precious doll already! Her eyes stay shut all of the time...

...unless you challenge an Angel's temper like hers.

It's strange no? Very unusual for me to write something lengthy on any platform, since I'm one preferring to convey a message with visuals over words alone. Perhaps OCs are one way for me to express my thought process via writing. How long can cotton take care of her new OCs? Only time will tell???
