I was thinking about expanding my Patreon page for those that would like to support more for more content.

I was thinking about a $5 tier for people to suggest things for me to draw, and I would have people vote on which ideas they'd want to see.

I was also considering trying out a limited more expensive tier where someone could tell me exactly what they want me to draw that month (of either my characters or fanart, within my boundaries) or "save" up two months  and get a piece of their character with my character. (this tier would range between $30-$80 depending on the level of quality I decide to go with)

Sounds like a great idea! It is challenging but if you can manage juggling between your commissions and Enro patreon on top of this patreon, then why not?

You know I have a weakness for art by you.

So I've had mixed experiences with artists in the past that have made totally-not-a-commission-ticket tiers. Some artists have been diligent of cycling out the tiers or members within, or have also made them time sensitive. A couple have turned the higher tier into a token system of sorts where amount of time spent = tokens for a future commission slot, with mixed results. Others - and I'm not saying you would do this - have basically turned it into a permanent 'high roller' slot and locked out access for anyone else. That being said, I'm open to the idea of an elevated tier for this Patreon, but it will need some thought as you have two fairly separate parties you are catering to (CC and BB, I don't know how much of a crossover there is but I'd wager very little) and need to hit a fair balance between access and exclusivity.

Agreed, on the topic of fair balance. Holding raffles would be more fair compared to a ticket tier since it favours whomever is free to grab a spot the moment it opens. And to temporarily ban winners from re-entering for the next few raffles to allow others more chances. There is much more work involved but at least everyone gets equal opportunities for a commission.
