Weekly Animation Twitch Collaborations (Patreon)

The Mission

5-15 second animations. Weekly. 

Created live on Twitch, with the help and input of the viewers (and any other animators that wanna jump in).

These are simple shorts, likely black and white to start, with simple backgrounds.

Every part of the process : Concept, writing, character design, audio recording, soundscape design, story boarding, and animation.

Animations to be created in roughly 3 days.

The Schedule

Day 1 (Monday) - We sit around and talk ideas, come up with characters, get the script in place, possibly even board some frames.

Day 2 (Tuesday) - We voice the characters. I'll also be voicing other projects on my roster. After that, we hit up the soundscape, and get the audio completed.

Day 3 (Wednesday or Thursday) - Animation. Just roll through it. Worst case scenario, I finish it the next day. But the goal is to crank it out.

The Rub 

I've never attempted this before. It is very much an untested experiment. It will likely fall on it's face for the first several attempts. I have no idea how I'm actually going to make any of this make sense financially. Even if "successful" I have no idea if it is financially sustainable over time.

What about other Animators?

If animators wanna help and join in: awesome. If they wanna take a crack at helping with the idea/script/concept and use the audioscape we make for their own version of a weekly short: awesome. It's all an experiment, there really are no rules... except to make stuff to entertain people (if only for a few seconds).

In Conclusion 

It's simple: I wanna make stuff. Since starting to make short animations 5 years ago, the idea of making content with the very audience it's for has been a goal of mine. If, at the very least, as a side project.
