Denzel just sent Stallone packing back to his forest hideout. EQUALIZER moves on!

Today in Patreon March Madness - we don't envy the decision you have to make. Both of these would be incredible series, and are clearly passion picks for the Griffdog.

It's HAPPY MADISON ORIGINS vs STAND-UP ANIMATION.

Went the less obvious route and chose two Dangerfield images (instead of Sandler). Please clap.

With HAPPY MADISON ORIGINS, we'd cover the six Sandler vehicles that led to the creation of his Happy Madison production shingle with LITTLE NICKY:

BILLY MADISON
HAPPY GILMORE
THE WEDDING SINGER
THE WATERBOY
BIG DADDY
LITTLE NICKY

With STAND-UP ANIMATION, we'd cover five animated features that were created around the persona of stand-up comedians:

ROVER DANGERFIELD (Rodney Dangerfield)
BEBE'S KIDS (Robin Harris)
ANTZ (Woody Allen)
EIGHT CRAZY NIGHTS (Adam Sandler)
BEE MOVIE (Jerry Seinfeld)

Either way, we will LAUGH. Who moves on?

Damn, I really hope Stand-Up Animation comes back in a future bracket. What a fascinating category.

God just seeing the words “stand up animation” filled me with so much excitement, not just for the novelty of the idea itself (it is weird that there’s enough examples to recognize it as a genre), not just for the variety of movies and personalities involved, but especially for the chance to have Griffin speak on his experiences in and opinions on the world of stand-up comedy. But I guess it’ll be fun to hear everyone weigh in on shampoo vs conditioner too. I’m not disappointed in this result at all.

I agree. I knew it wouldn't win but I'm glad they at least put it on the bracket.
