Hello!

Here comes one more set of updates for next month Grimdark release!  First I took the Warmaster Titan and turned it into a literal walking cathedral.  Because at the end of the day, what's more Grimdark than a giant monument filled with a congregation that sings praises to a husk on a golden throne which also happens to be fuelled by braziers of screaming heretics?  Also, I really like those chaplain dreadnoughts and the only thing more badass than that is a titan version of one. 👍

I should probably make this clear.  I'm not removing the original titan design I showed earlier this month.  I just needed an alternate version that I can show publicly, otherwise no one will even know I made any titans. 😄

So I know that a lot of community members want the titan to be printable at truescale.  Based on my rough calculations, that would make the titan 760mm in height. 😱 There is no way I could have done that properly this month but I will try to do the conversion slowly.  Which means rather than just rolling out the entire gigantic set for the titan, I'll probably do small conversions for each body part next month and release them out slowly with the Fantasy WIPs.  For next month's release though, the titans will be my standard 100mm in height.  I will be including an option to make the hinges modular so community members can decide how they prefer to pose the titan.  You can also swap out the weapons loadouts in whatever combination you choose.

Okay, for one last surprise, I decided to kitbash my mothballed Sanginius for public release.  Yeah, I know he's barely recognisable but that's kind of the point.  But hey, angel statues are always cool. This might be a trend for the other mothballed items but we'll see how things go.

The Fantasy Month poll is still up!  I'll go through next month's release once the final results are in.  Stay tuned!

Been a patreon member now for a few months and slowly working my way through the amazing catalogue. Is there anywhere to obtain this model or the earlier custodes version? I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Honestly I preferred the old design better.

Liked the old design a bit more

Question: Will the titan be released with this version AND the other as printable options? Or is this the final product? Any idea how many pieces it'll be in? Because, even if I can't have it as a full-scale Warmaster, it can be scaled up just a LITTLE bit and make a bad ass looking 40K Imperial Knight! Also, if we scale it up on our own, how big can it go before problems start? Because, this would also look cool as a proxy for a smaller Titan, like a Warhound or Reaver sized Titan. Sorry, but I've got zero digital sculpting skill. I don't know anything about how scale will alter a model. Thank you!

Hi, I'm not removing the original design. I just need this alternate version to show for the public post.

Hi, I'm not removing the original design. I just need this alternate version to show for the public post. The parts version is around twenty something individual stl files. For the scaling questions, I think you should ask about this in the 3DArtGuy Discord. There will be more experienced community members who can give a better explanation.

OMFG. This is EXCITING. I love every damned design you've shown for this Titan, and I think it's going to make AWESOME knights. Any hints on which version(s), if any, will eventually be offered pre-supported? Thanks, man!

3DArtGuy

Thanks, I'm glad you like the designs! I'll get the original design presupported. I know that's the one community members want. 👍

Absolutely loving your work this month (as with every month for the last 18 since I have been following you) The titan is an extremely ambitious sculpt which you have absolutely excelled at and deserves the extra commitment you have offered in order to achieve the massive truescale. Thank you for your passionate sculpting work that brings us so many fantastic models

Love this release. Amazing work as always!! I look forward to you releasing scaled up bits so it can be printed in true scale, that will be epic and I will stocking up on resin for this.

One last question, the titan you will release this month, how tall will it stand?

Love the Sanguinius re-do and the idea of putting out a true-scale version of that lovely titan. Can not wait to get my hands on these and try not to mess them up. :)

Eric

I'm happy, regardless. Either of those is good by me. But I'm IN LOVE with the one that looks like a Chaplain Dread. That was always my favorite Dread. THANK YOU for having one of these beasts pre-supported!

The second version of the titan looks sick! So is the 750mm what's needed for the Titanicus scale?

3DArtGuy

Thanks! 👍 I believe there are two versions. One is 165mm which is the Titanicus scale. The truescale is around 760mm.

This Titan design is pretty cool. Reminds me of Atlas with the globe on his shoulders.

3DArtGuy

Thanks! 👍 Yeah, I can kind of see where the comparison comes from. 😄

Did an upscale test to the 760mm Scale. Wouldnt even fit on my phenom, lol
