Hello!

Ah, the Minotaur, one of the most classic monsters in mythology and definitely one with the most messed up origin.  Anyone with even a hint of interest in fantasy will recognise the Minotaur as a jacked up brick wall that will turn enemies into red jelly.

For this project, I really wanted to nail the bovine appearance of the monster, the utterly repugnance of a half man half bull.  I also wanted to highlight how terrifying the Minotaur can be.  If you ever get lost in a maze and your name isn't Theseus, chances are you're going to be the Minotaur's dinner.

To make this miniature visually distinct from any miniature out there, I've decided to give the Minotaur a more primitive tribal look.  His armour and weapons are made from the victims he's slain, and he's kept a tally of kills by keeping the skulls (hence the name Headhunter).  In a campaign, he will utterly terrify players with the knowledge they are next on his chopping block if they botch up the encounter.

For the pose, I'm thinking of having him holding the head of a fresh kill in one hand, and a bone axe in the next.  The miniature should be available to patrons by the end of the week or early next week.  Stay tuned!

We did vote on a steampunk mino but he also said he was making a classic version as well we are getting a two for one deal as he put in the results post.
