Hello!

Part two of Sci Fi Month is here! All WIPs and high resolution turntables here.

First, let's explore the Cenobites from the Hellraiser franchise (I'm going to refrain from making as many comparisons to Slaanesh as possible 😅). Oh, and quick side note - a Hellraiser fan has requested I do a Pinhead version from the 2022 film. I will do that but the two versions from the poll takes priority first.

Anyways, the iconic Pinhead is a Cenobite, an extradimensional being and follower of supernatural hedonism. Their form of pleasure comes in two distinct forms 1. The expansion of sensation to an extremely painful point of sensory overload. 2. Enduring excruciating pain through incessant tortures that transcend traditional laws of physics. Cenobites live in a dimension often described as 'hell' but they actually exhibit no discernible morality or immorality as we understand it. Cenobites merely have an unwavering devotion to their craft.

Interestingly, the original Pinhead was actually human. Elliot Spencer was a WW1 Captain in the British Expeditionary Force that fought in the Battle of Flanders. Suffering from severe effects of post traumatic stress disorder, the disillusioned and jaded Spencer turned to a hedonistic lifestyle, turning to the baser methods of gratification for satisfaction and pleasure. He eventually discovered the Lament Configuration in India, an iconic item in the Hellraiser franchise. When solved, the puzzle box creates a bridge or 'schism' to the Cenobite's dimension which is how the films kick off. Anyways, the lore I read researching the Hellraiser franchise is really interesting, so no wonder it has so many entries. 👍

For my take, I more or less stuck to the original Pinhead design. I've been making incremental changes to the face and thickness of the pins so the WIPs are slightly different over time. I originally thought the female version in the suggestion was a Cenobite version of Kirsty Cotton but further research leads me to believe she's an anonymous Cenobite. Regardless, I stuck to the style from the poll winning version.

Next up, we have Devastator from the awesome G1 Transformer series. Devastator is what you get when Decepticons pull a Captain Planet and combine themselves into one super robot. And trust me, kids love combining robots together. 🤩 And by the law of cartoons, the bigger the robot, the more powerful they become so Devastator is an absolute wrecking ball. But funnily enough, Devastator's mental state is severely limited because the individual Decepticons are always arguing with each other so Devastator is just hurricane of destructive fury. But Megatron is a-okay with that.  He just needs to point Devastator in the general direction of Autobots and watch the fireworks. 😄

So yeah, I'm sticking to the G1 style of Devastator because G1 Transformers were the best. He also get a giant blaster and outrageously large drill arm because that's awesome. 🤩🔥🏆👍 Hey, you know what would get butts in seats, filmmakers? A G1 Transformers movie with this bad boy on the poster. A film about Autobots and Decepticons beating the crap out of each other on Cybertron without a human in sight. I'm pretty sure fans will pay to see Omega Supreme and Devastator duke it out.

Next up are poses, some community requested stuff and a 2022 version of Pinhead! Want a specific Devastator pose? Please let me know! Grimdark voting is also coming up next week so please have your suggestions submitted in the next few days. Thanks!

Hi, I usually go by the default 50mm/100mm scale for single and parts but I can make a custom height if requested.
