Hi y'all,

I just wanted to make an end of the year post to update y'all on me, my work, and the current direction of my projects.

You may have noticed that my writing has been less frequent since I dropped my first zine in September. My apologies for this! I have been under a great deal of stress having been physically assaulted and injured in late September and also hustling as much as possible to handle upcoming medical bills, including those of my top surgery in January. Immediately post-surgery you may see a bit more quiet from me, but my hopes are that after I've healed a bit I'll be able to at least get back into the rhythm of writing and content creation y'all have been used to.

I am hoping to finish up some final bits of some projects before my surgery date, the biggest one of which is creating an audiobook for my Destroy What Destroys You v1 zine which is a compilation of most of my existing essays on domestic violence. I'm excited to share it with you all and am hoping to drop them this or next week! I also continue to make headway on my most ambitious project to pull my developing theory on abuse into a book, but finishing that one is still a long time off.

Finally, I just wanted to share my profound appreciation to each and every one of you for supporting my work on here. I know I have a pretty lackluster patreon, in part because of executive disfunction tbh and in large part by design as I want the best of my work to be available to everyone. However, if it was not for your contributions here I would not be able to pay rent or much of anything at all. As my body has become more and more disabled (and especially since my injury in late summer) I have been less and less able to do my day job and y'all's support has become my primary source of income. I really cannot even quantify how much that has helped me stay afloat in the turbulent waters of capitalism! Thank you thank you!!

Y'all are awesome, and I hope you are hanging in there alright. It's rough out here.

Love and Solidarity,

Lee
