Simple Doodles (Patreon)

Hey there Deluge tier. Thank you guys so much for the ongoing support. You've helped me survive these wild couple of years, and I want to actually settle on a reward that is most worthy.  

In the past I tried sketches, but I'd get stuck spending way too much time on each of them because I had a terrible habit of wanting to outdo myself, and would end up falling behind as a result. So that didn't work. 

Then we tried Polls, to give you guys more of a chance to chose what appears on here, however... i realized quickly after that I was trying so hard to make each poll sound unique and fun and different and the end result caused many people not getting what they wanted in addition to me not drawing what I wanted due to trying to keep each poll different and unique.  This need for "different and unique" prevented me from just making content that involved Phy, DJ, Denny etc. Which are characters supporters here really respond well to... So that didn't work either. 

I appreciate you guys sticking around while I try to find something that actually works for long term. 

I will return to releasing content that features Phy, Denny, DJ etc. alongside other popular characters that people love.

I have decided to try simple doodles, with a time limit and a canvas size limit too. This prevents me from obsessing over details and could help me draw something for everyone consistently every month. 

It works like this: 

Tell me what you want me to draw for you. (very simple idea and character)

I then draw that character on a canvas of smaller squares alongside other people's characters. 

I will draw something for everyone on Deluge tier, and then release the large single image featuring everyone's doodle side by side in addition to giving everyone a personal PNG featuring their square of art. 

Next month, I will draw the same character again, with a different expression, pose, etc. It's a surprise, UNLESS you specifically ask me for something at the beginning of the month. The window is only 3 days, so that way there's no confusion or me wondering if you wanted something new. 

Then I will draw that new character the way you want, however the next month I will stay with that character and draw something new featuring them UNLESS you tell me otherwise within the first 3 days. etc. etc. (I will remind everyone so it's easier) 

So if you enjoy the same character each month and want to be surprised with what I do, simply stand by and let the doodles arrive. If you want something more specific, simply let me know!  Easy right? :)
