 Hey Everyone!!

How is everyone doing? Physiotherapy is going along slowly, but It's been helping steadily with my back pains. I hope everyone is taking care of yourselves as well!

I have been taking a bit a time off of my usual work routine, which has been making me quite restless. I'm used to occupying all my day with work, and when I'm not working on something, I'm studying something to work on later....  My head is always so full of noise, I don't know what do with this silence!! Again, I thank everyone of you for being patient with me during this hard time I'm currently facing.

But, I've been thinking a lot as well, specially on how I deal with art. I'll try a less do-or-die approach to it and slowly learn again how to have fun with it. I take myself too seriously!!!

Another topic on my mind is.. I really like doing concept art, but I don't have any final product with it!! This makes my art hard to approach and market, to be very honest. If I want to rely less on commissions, I have to think more. That's one of the reasons why I want to tackle a webcomic project, and the script has been coming along fine, I've tried some experiments for designs of the main characters, which I'll have to compile for posting when the ideas matures a bit further.

Other idea I had is messing up a bit with Redbubble! I don't know if I could work big prints, as I'm really insecure about it, but I can work patterns nicely! I even tried some tests with some patterns I've done this year. This could be a nice tertiary source of income! Maybe I could even try stickers? So because of that, I'm planning on tackling some pattern designs this month! I'll do things I know people appreciate about my art, such as wholesome sexy dudes, colorful things and fanart. I don't know much about how Redbubble merchandising is popular in the US, what do you guys think of this idea?

You can even check up the prototype I have for the store!

The other thing I've been working while I can't go full hours again is 3D, using the free SketchUp app! Again, my objective with it is making topography for my compositions, so I'm not planning to learn it in depth for models and etc. as It's more of a matter of using it as a base for me to work on. These are pretty silly but I've been having fun with it! I'm still a wee baby, but even with so few practice, I think this can be very useful already.

I even tried my luck on making something a bit more elaborate - my boyfriend was needing a tiny project for his business and I tried making a plan for a piece of furniture! I know it's simple but as I said, I'm using 3D more to convey ideas and structure than actually follow as a full fledged 3D artist.

Depending on the character we pick on our character pool this month, I may be trying something on SketchUp! I'm really looking forward to it!
