In terms of artistic direction, one of the big differences between Disney's Aladdin & Disney's Beauty and the Beast is that, in the former the background characters were designed in advance. I cannot verify this anecdote, but it makes a lot of sense to me, because Aladdin's minor characters are far more distinctive and consistent. By comparison, they look like someone planned ahead.

In my years of making comics, I am definitely guilty of making up a minor character on the fly - which is not a bad thing, of course - but I usually regret my choices in that moment later. At the time of writing this post, I have drawn several pages of the new 12-Inch comics and started adjusting my new character designs so that they better serve the production. However, I have only been drawing the main cast and have not gotten to the antagonists. Yes, even NSFW sitcoms need bad guys too - if not for them, who'd interrupt all the hot gay action?

Above are my new designs for Mr. Cornhole and Ms. Twubble, two of 12-Inch's "villains". Cornhole is a completely new design that I came up with a while ago and Twubble is my first attempt a refining the existing design (because back when I drew her the first, I made her up on the fly and was never truly happy with her moving forward).
