Some Updates (Patreon)

First thing I want to say is that payments for this Patreon account continue to be paused. This is because my productivity has dropped significantly due to my day job and I've been taking a class online for the last several weeks. I do not like bringing it up because I feel like I am making excuses, but I thought I should since I've lost a few patrons over the last couple of months. Ultimately, I'm trying to make better use of my time because I really committed myself to working much hard on the comics and want to maintain that pandemic or not.

Today, I rearranged the sketches and reference for all of my projects. It's a long list, but some are definitely more important than others. You will begin seeing them here in both the SFW and NSFW feeds. The above was from an unearthing of an old project from my Meatcute blog days - an adult retelling of children's fairy tales built around the Big Bad Wolf.

This is a project I have no intention of completing but still enjoy the characters: above (inset) is the wolf (who's sort of a hillbilly-type named Rufe) with 3 Little Cumpigs (Rod, Tim and Clay). I based the styling of the cumpigs on gay male archetypes in the media from Hal Fischer's Gay Semiotics. I think I will strip mine the idea for an upcoming 12-Inch Roommate role play story.

Does anyone else find dripping precum funny?

Also: a couple of decisions regarding my work that I wanted to bring up:
1) I am no longer creating Abel Boddy. I came to this decision this summer after reassessing my creative priorities. When I started it 15 years ago my goals for a comic were very different than they are now. I was still planning more stories for that comic, but ultimately felt that it was no longer relevant to me. I'm working on straightening up abelboddy.com and may put together a new book that combines all of the work.

2) I am now planning on producing 12-Inch Roommate in color. I was sticking to a black and white format for the new strips because I like the look of it. But feel like readers would prefer color? LMK your thoughts in the comment section.
