I recently restructured my reference files - it took a couple of months and felt a lot like procrastination and my new system is just as unwieldy BUT it all helped me produce the image above.

This is my current batch of character designs for some of the Jockstrap Academy cast. I put my original doodles for them aside and dug deep into my reference photos for 1) Hunky Guys 2) Muscle-y Bodies 3) Jock Clothing and 4) Dick prints.

I then took the new ideas that came out of that and merged them with the old designs. While I am sure I will continue to make edits over time, I'm very happy with the result.
