New Years Resolution Talk + RaihanxLeon Fun (Patreon)

Ok so first off, I feel bad because I dropped the ball last month with the Pokémon fan comic that I teased you all with. I still have hopes for finishing that btw, I just need more time Because I'm a newb to comics and  wanted to make it worth your time reading it. 

So I apologize T.T

But here is an additional illustration I'll be adding to the end of that comic. It's honestly one of the first times I'm attempting to do a full illustrative piece. I'm used to just drawing character focused artwork but this year I really want to tackle my weaknesses head on. The main one being backgrounds. I tend to avoid them like the plague but I figured I'll never get better if I don't try.

On another note...

My motto for this year is "Moving On, and Pushing Forward". 

I realized with in the last year that I really need to change my current defeatist mindset because it fuels my anxiety and leaves me stagnant. I'm the type of person that has grandiose ideas but always has a hard time following through to the end. I often find myself chalking up my failures to lack of knowledge/skill in a certain area but I don't think that's necessarily true. I've come to find I'm more than capable of doing things I set my mind to, I just have an aversion to obstacles. I see one and I stop. 

Knowing that now, I can for sure say that I give up too quickly and that a lot of greatness is lost in that process of starting and quitting something midway through.  So the name of the game is completion. Seeing things though to the very end. even if that mean taking the time to properly troubleshoot a situation and getting thrown off the time schedule I set out for said thing. I just need to see it through!

So... this year I have set projects I want to do/complete: 

• Create at least one full illustration piece a month.
• A few fan comics are on this list (will save the specific info for later).
• To start a public Webcomic (personal project).
• Make a small Visual Novel (just to explore that medium more).
• Create a website.

Naturally I'll be updating you guys first on how I'm progressing with each of these as time goes on. I've already started the planning process for most of these items so I'll chime in on them soon.
