👮🏽‍♀️ v2.2.3 Explanation of the Prison Snitch Missions 👮🏽‍♀️ (Patreon)

The new Prison Snitch mission chain appears to have caused quite a lot of confusion [multiple error-reports about this one!], so it's time to address it. Basically, I made it waaay too complicated 😂 Unfortunately, there's also a 🐛bug on one of the routes 😬

We'll start with an overview:

Prison Snitch is intended to let you replay any cellmate scenes you missed from Season 1 in a single playthrough - gaining all the points/stats, and adding all 3 cellmate characters to your Virtual Stable. It also gives you access to a big new sex scene with Meera, and some mission-related stats and XP points.

How it works:

Prison Snitch is a 3-part mission chain, which begins in Second Watch of Day02. Since you can only play 1 mission per Watch, it's not currently possible to play anything more than Prison Snitch 1/3 - even though all three have been made. In the coming September update, you'll have another Watch [and can choose to play 2/3]; and in the October update you'll see another Watch [and be able to choose 3/3].

They'll stay in the mission queue until played, failed or deleted, so don't feel obliged to play them as soon as they come up. Obviously, this all depends on your choices - e.g. the mission chain might end after 1/3 or 2/3 for Straight players, because they've played all the female characters [you'll still get the XP, though].

Here's what you should be seeing:

Everyone should be seeing the image at the top of the post. If you're not, you're on the route with the bug [more about that later]. The image is of Prison Snitch 1/3, and clicking accept will have one of two outcomes:

1. If you've already been in a cell in the Season 1 Brig scene, you'll be asked by Meera to inform on what happened. If you do, she'll give you the chance to have sex with her.

2. If you skipped the cells in the Season 1 Brig scene, you'll get to go into one of your choosing [the content is the same as that in Season 1 - with some small changes based on the storyline since]. Then you'll be asked by Meera to inform on what happened. If you do, she'll give you the chance to have sex with her.

🐛 The bug:

Urgh - the last thing you need with an over-complicated concept is a bug [it's difficult enough to explain as is!]. Unfortunately, straight players who went in the cell with Krathi in Season 1 are not even seeing the mission at all. That's quite the error - since the Meera scene you'd be getting is the biggest single piece of straight content in the update 😭 

I'm really sorry about that - and those affected by it will be able to play it in v2.3.1 [out to all Patrons by the end of the month].
