Dev Diary #9 📖 - Post Action Report & Plans (Patreon)

Greeting, Fellow Citizens of the Union!

What a month March was – I genuinely didn’t think I’d get the update out in time for a bit there as events conspired against me. Getting coronavirus was hardly perfect… given my age and health it wasn’t risky for me, but it sure was debilitating! 😬Nasty little disease – I urge you all to follow your respective country’s health advice and stay safe. Then my computer fan broke (for some reason also taking the noise reducer with it for good measure). Yeesh! That meant I wasn’t able to finish the Constable’s scene – as m/m-only players know only too well – but worry not, I’ll be including that in the next update 😉

Of course, disasters come in threes, and I’ve only mentioned two so far. I planned to release 0.3.0 as a patch – a 1GB download rather than the full 2.5GB to help save your download quotas. 

It did not work.

In fact, I spent the whole of the 31st making and remaking the patch after the first reports that no-one could play it (packaging the game is a dull and often frustrating business, so that was a bad day). Eventually I had to give up and release the normal way… though not before messing up a few patron’s saves. (Sorry! 😳) This doesn’t mean I’ve given up on the idea of patches, just that I need to go back to the drawing board... 👨🏻‍🎨

That aside, I was really happy with the update overall (and enjoyed making it). Got some fun music in, and I found creating the sex scenes enjoyable. A few players have mentioned it reminds them of Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS… a sexploitation film from the 70’s. I was unfamiliar with it, but I can live with the comparison 😂

PLANS for the month ahead:

So, you know that the next main update will feature the Constable and Cis. Before that, I need to do some of the extras – Walkthroughs, the new Personnel Files for the Virtual Stable, etc. – so you’ll be seeing a few technical updates before then.

I should also announce that my side-project with 🐺Nykwolf is going very well indeed, and I hope that you’ll be seeing that this month. This one is mainly for fans of lesbian and/or futa… or anyone who enjoys the Witcher games😉 More about that later!
