Captain's Name Contest: Hero of the Union 🎖 (Patreon)

It's that time again! We've had some remarkably successful Raffles to pick the names of Morgana, Lancelot and Sergeant Krussef. Hell, I even got the name of Subcommander Diana Kelley (Mission to Terex) from the Sergeant Poll offcuts - so another thank you to Major Molina and Captain Paki!

This one's a slightly stranger Name Contest- for a character you haven't actually met yet! Now, please don't let this put you off entering - there's a lot of power in a name, and as you've previously seen, they can inspire new storylines and personality traits.

She'll be appearing in the upcoming update, and you'll have seen her as the Captain Tier avatar. That means I'll have to give a couple of spoilers to make sure you've got the full information:

Provisionally named Captain Ho, she's the darling of SpaceCorps - a Hero of the Cervaxian War, and star of SpaceCorps recruitment propaganda; loved by billions and adorning teenage girl's bedrooms from Ganymede to Volchak Prime. She's cute, she's chirpy, and she can play a guitar as well as she can take out an enemy starship...

She's also a total fascist.

Yep, this chick drank the Interstellar Union Kool-Aid  - and then asked for more. She's fanatically pro-SpaceCorps, anti-Cervaxian and Terran Supremacist. An inspiration was the cheerily brutal Training Video Girl Miyamū from Battle Royale - and the Captain delivers horror to the masses with a J-Pop soundtrack.

Be as jokey, referential or off-the-wall as you like... but remember that she's a human female, and that her character design combines various East Asian elements.
