🤩 Another Goal reached, for the hat-trick! You. Guys. Are. Awesome! Together, we're turning SpaceCorps into some really special, and the cockles of my heart are well and truly warmed!

Now, this is always a risky moment to announce a reached Goal, since there's often a fair bit of churn at the turn of the month... But I'm so stoked that I'm just gonna press on anyway! Plus, my bank account is now looking healthy enough to go for that kick-ass computer that haunts my dreams 😍  - and should significantly improve render times. 🙏🏼 Once I've finished agonising over which extras to add to the build, I'll be able to post my first (and probably only!) 'unboxing' pic - like one of them there YouTube fellers is always doing!

But SpaceCorps expansion certainly doesn't stop at upgrading the rig! Captain Alex has very kindly offered to help me set up a proper Integrated Development Environment to speed up the programming and improve bug-detection. 🤓 I'm also beginning the process of setting up a Discord page (suggested by the good Captain Swiftnissity) with unique roles for Patrons. I hope that will give us all further opportunities to chat and discuss the future of the game, as well as allowing you guys to post your own art and stories. 😀

And since I have you here, just a bit of general news about February... I'll be working on the mini-updates (teased in the in-game TBC) which serve as bolt-ons to the existing content. We're also gonna see: a Captain's Raffle to pick a name for the Drill-Sergeant, a Command Poll to choose from the MC's Haircut Poll frontrunners, more of the Xenobiology 101 series, and a proper Dev Diary to discuss some of the inspirations behind the game... plus loads more pics and polls.
