Since the last poll was such a roaring success, let's have another! Captain Swiftnissity suggested that I ask what encouraged you to sign up - which I think will be a great way to find out where my focus should be, and hopefully get a good conversation started about the future!

Now feel free to vote for as many of the options below as you like (this one's more of a checklist than a ballot!)… And if you have other reasons for joining that you'd like to share, please comment below. 😉

Let the games commence!

Add also future TGTS content to the gay/bi option ;-)

RanliLabz

I'll def do a separate Orientation Poll when I've put up my first TSTG images!

Pretty sure I told you why I signed up. As another game developer, I want to help support others making solid gay/bi content games. I also like your presence, man. You're open to feedback and you're taking your project serious but I can tell you're having fun at the same time. To me, that's a solid recipe for success and I think it shows in your first release. I like an active dev and it's something I take really serious. I dont mind chipping in cause you go skillz bruh.

Zack and Braden in Spaaaaaaaaace.....🤙

Nexmanus

I liked the scifi idea to start with but after that the interaction and the way the content was presented really made me feel like you were not going for the cheap sex for the sexgod but making a open minded yet selectable, personal experience that would allow any player to play the game to their liking.

RanliLabz

Thanks Nex! I know I'll never be able to cater for every taste - but I can still aim in that direction. Choice is king 😉

56 out of 59 votes after 4 hours! Great response 😁

RanliLabz

lol, it's cos I made it so everyone can vote as many times as they like... 20 Patrons have cast 58 votes so far (it's like a Mississippi State election!)

Aaryn

Lol, hell yeah! Beam your folks down to I-never-named-it College

Alex

Good old Patreon not bothering to count voters...lol

I admit that M/M content is definitely a plus to me as I'm a bisexual male myself. It's not that common to find creators that don't shy away from that type of content and it's usually no M/M at all, or only M/M. So it was refreshing to find someone willing to give both types of content proper treatment. But I must say that the way you are communicating is what really made me decide to give supporting you a shot. It's nice to see that you're very responding to feedback and that you post frequently with little updates or fun posts. So both of those got a vote from me in the poll, but if I would have had only 1 option I would have voted on communication. Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to what you're going to bring in the future!

RanliLabz

Thanks Sergeant! I think a lot of creators get nervy that M/M content will put off straight players (I was actually a bit worried myself!) I think the reaction to the game so far proves that wrong - and I'm pleased to say that I haven't seen a single negative comment about the decision so far! As far as the communication goes... 😄 shucks! (that is my awkward British method of accepting a welcome compliment and promising to do more of the thing which elicited it!)

What first attracted me to Space Corps? Nothing in particular tbh, I was just downloading a load of random games from F95. What I saw really impressed me, especially a certain part of me...so I thought I'd check out your Patreon page and see how much you're asking for (in the hope you wouldn't be too greedy). So I went for Ensign to get some additional in game content. Then I had a little browse of the posts I unlocked and it really blew me away how much you talk with and listen to your patrons, it took me all of 5 minutes to decide to up my pledge to Captain. Certainly no regrets so far ;) Also I think it's worth saying that when I first played your game (knowing that it was your first release) it made me see that there is just so much potential and I really want to help shape it into something special. Hopefully I've been helping to do that ever since :)

RanliLabz

You certainly have, Cap! (as a note to the crew, Alex suggested a really great way to introduce an upcoming character... sooo much sex!) 😉

Alex

Which I definitely did on purpose and not at all by accident

I've mentioned it before on F95 but: - You embraced the M/M side - You gave the guys unique looks (most titles don't put much if any effort into them compared to the girls) - The diversity stood out to me (I'm not Asian but it's noticeable when they're included because theirs so few, particularly males). Adding into the guys unique looks, it made Sam memorable. - You've also given the Alien's different looks so they don't look like Human Clone #69 with green skin. - Sci-Fi setting, I'm kinda over the slice of life/standard/school/college setting of the titles I've found on F95. Give me some high quality fantasy or sci-fi stuff. - You interact! So many dev's don't do it and I think it really hinders things. It's humanizing (in a sense) to feel that the dev's are contactable and they are actually listening. - And of course...the world building. Being pulled into the world I think really enhances the overall experience. You're slowly building this world that feels like it has so many possibilities and options. I love it!
