about the 2 things u were asking about: 1- the whole earth or half of it would be petrified? the medusa works as a radius, NOT diameter. a diameter = 2 r (radius). so if I say 2 meters 1 second, the beam would go 2 meters from all sides of the device, which would mean a total distance from one point of the beam to the opposite side of it 4 meters (2 meters from that point to the center, and 2 meters from the center to the opposite side of the given point ). so if the diameter of the earth is 12.8million meters, and the device is given that, it would do 12.8M meters on all sides of it, making the actual beam length long enough to cover 2 earths next to each other. so yes, it WILL cover all of earth with 12.8M meters. 2- why-man "voice" from before is different than now so why are they sure it is the same person if its a different voice?? i think u r miss remembering/misunderstanding. why-man never had an actual voice before. the "WHY WHY WHY WHY" was done through Morse code, NOT a human voice (the anime gave him an ominous voice to show the creepiness of it). however, now suddenly he is not using Morse code this time, but senku's voice (this is why Ruri called, cuz she thought "senku" was sending a message that is on repeat with no real meaning as far as she is concerned) Also, about the Crunchyroll comment saying "fuck why-man, its on sight when we get there" I think they mean "shoot on site" as in no need for talking to him, just the shoot the mf as soon as he is spotted.
