Toji's little tug of war with Maki, made me think how similar their past/childhood must have been. Like Maki, Toji would also have been poorly treated/shunned by zenin clan for not having cursed energy, of course maki's challenges in the zenin family are vastly different but the treatment would have been so similar and he said that zenin clan denied him the world or something, so obviously he hates the zenin clan. Maki now wants to make zenin clan regret the way they treated her by becoming a well-known sorcerer, a parallel can also be drawn for Toji since he could have run away in his last fight but he wanted to prove zenin clan wrong, by defeating the strongest (Gojo). Also, he brought up the fact that he was a monkey with no cursed energy and they still lost to him, which shows the pride he takes in proving zenin clan wrong for treating him that way. I am in no way saying that they both are similar in nature/ideals, or trying to justify Toji's actions. It just got me wondering how 2 people with similar "pasts" can end up with such different approaches to fulfilling their goals. I would say that it's justified for both Maki and Toji to hate zenin clan. They both are in their own ways trying to prove that they were born different for a good reason in my opinion.

I think Mai has a big presence!!Maki doesn't just want to look back at the Zenin clan. She wanted to become the head of the Zenin clan and make a place for Mai at home.I think that's a big difference from Toji.Well, maybe that's not the only reason.

They grew up in an environment of death and suffering. They recklessly sought the help of a devil and paid the price. Also I think I may have missed something but the girls had not intentions of doing this for the greater good. Lol sorry someone spoiled you as well!

Who said anything about the greater good and when was that ever even something that mattered to me in the first place? 😂 it didn’t matter to me when people said it about Eren or Pain and it certainly didn’t matter here since the girls only did what Geto, their saviour and cult leader, told them to do and his plan was never about the greater good. It was about saving the few (strong - Jujutsu sorcerers) at the expense of the many (the weak, in his eyes, non-Jujutsu sorcerers). I have never once rooted for or agreed with antagonists. All I said in this episode was that I felt sad that children like them get dragged into these kind of wars in the first place.
