I couldn't help but cry after he released the balloons, what a brilliant finale <3 I agree with what Kevin said, I can definitely see the next season(s) focusing on them as a couple, and Ishigami's plotline with Tsubame and possibly Iino. The clock stopped at 4 when they kissed, and in the post credits scene you can see a 4 in Kaguya's eyes, so we can only hope the announcement is for season 4 <3

I've noticed that is common for "romantic" anime and manga to end with the confession which honestly just feels like a lazy way to write romance without writing an actual relationship. So knowing that Kaguya, a story about two people that firmly refuse to be romantic, actually continues the story beyond the confession is just precious lol this season was great, I hope the animators and everyone else involved realize how much we appreciate their work
