Just to correct a few things you said regarding gravity. Newton was the first reordered person to discover gravity. He wanted to develop a formula but all the mathematics at the time wasn’t complex enough and therefore he invented calculus, a whole new mathematical structure to study and formulate gravity. After that there wasn’t really much of debate on gravity, calculus was well understood and the study of gravity was widely accepted. There really wasn’t much debate on the topic until Einstein. Everyone believed his theory of gravity to be 100% true until Einstein introduced the theory of general relativity and some of Newton’s classical mechanics were superseded. Even today we don’t much about gravity, it’s basic functionality is under but that’s that. In quantum physics there no clear-cut answer of gravity, it might as well be a mysterious force. Anyway, I don’t believe in Karma personally so my view is different from yours on the topic of “Theory of Morality”. Morality, ethics, and other such principles are human constructs meant only to serve human interests. The universe is neither good nor evil, it just is. The closest Universe comes to any form of alignment is Chaotic Neutral. Even if this “Theory of Morality” existed unlike gravity it doesn’t really seem to have much of an obvious effect. Killing people will get you trouble but killing and eating animals is fine? Killing and eating plantss is fine? Also what about the planets, starts and other non-sentient things. If tomorrow a meteor crashes into earth and everyone on the planet is dead then how will this “Theory of Morality” react/respond. I am not sliding on your belief, I just think it’s extremely hard for something like this to exist though not impossible. Personally I hate the concept of Karma, it is defiantly an effective tool to make people double think about their actions but I think it’s somewhat toxic. For e.g. If a kid gets raped then according to the cycle of karma the kid had it coming because he did something bad, to me that doesn’t make any sense. It’s almost like how religious people are like you’ll burn in hell if you commit sin and whatnot. Once again, I am not disrespecting your beliefs and views, just sharing my own point of view.

If you want to see The Seven Deadly Sins you're better off just reading the manga! They ruined the anime after S1

Edward growth is actually kinda subtle. A nice amount of time has passed since the story started, and from 45 to 46 there's also a time-skip of a few months. Throughout the story Arakawa kept drawing him taller and taller, slowly but steadily. By the time they were up in the North, Ed was already as tall as Winry. Give him a few months for a growth spurt, and there you have it.

I imagine it wouldn't cause major disagreements in Fullmetal because, as you said, everything is well defined within the anime. There is also a point that the villains are basically monsters, they flee from any human moral excuse which makes people focus more on the characters as a whole, almost as if we human spectators were in agreement with our species. Thanks for your reaction 🥰
