You're correct, daifuku is a Japanese confection with an outer mochi layer. It's also called daifuku-mochi ^^b

I think in the last few episodes were full of fighting and funny moments and of course the stretching some scenes instead of talking about the story itself (secrets and mysterious things of the story) so I think this is the reason that makes you less talking and writing notes about the story... and when the anime back to talk about the story you will back to talk more and writing notes as usual ... this is my opinion 🤔

maybe the pacing feel slower with watching 1 ep weekly ,but watching a few eps in one day the pace doesnt feel too slow ,
