The extended edition of Return of the King (4 hours long) have many scenes that help explain the world and lore a bit better. Also some very crucial scenes were part of the cuts to make the movie under 3.5 hours. If you get time for a private watching I recommend watching the extended edition for all the 3 movies.

animaechan

Thank you :)) don’t worry! As I said in the videos, I’m planning on reading the books and doing a rewatch in a year or two. Watching live the extended versions 👏🏼

animaechan

I will leave this here if other people want to read but just letting you know I’m not going to be reading it bc I’m planning on reading the books for myself and doing some lore research so I don’t want to read it here rn

Fotis Fragoulis

Do you plan on watching the Hobbit movies?

Raul Iggynashow

When Kayla asked why does he look familiar? I quickly shouted that's Karl Urban from Judge Dredd 2. He's the guy from the Vin Diesel movie Riddick. He plays Billy Butcher from the The Boys! Kayla says OMG he's the guy from Thor Ragnorock. I named Urban's leading roles but Kayla recognized him in a minor role he played. LOL Well then FYI Kate Blanchett who played Hela in Thor Ragnorock also played Galadriel, the female elf wizard in the Lord of the Rings triology.

Gandalf riding an eagle. LOL you freaking called it!!!

Frodo was the least corruptible by the ring and even he got corrupted in the end, that's why Sam couldn't simply take the ring from him at the end because if Frodo can't do it, the one who was resisting the ring all this time, then no one can. it's a garrantee that sam too won't be able to throw it and by the end you can see that everyone can be corrupted since Frodo himself succumbed to its will.

zer0

Yeah, even Gandalf was like "Don't tempt me boy!" in the first movie.

Lévêque Alexandre

Funny and nice reaction (but don't insult Sauron, he's a jerk but one of the best villain in the fantasy fictional writing world so, we all like great villains like Batman's Joker, Darth Vader, Doflamingo in One Piece, etc... )

Lévêque Alexandre

PS : Have you ever saw the Batman movies ? Especially Nolan ones and The Dark Knight... if not, could be an interesting for a movie reaction.

animaechan

🤨 I can insult a villain in a reaction if I want. don’t tell me what to say.

Adam Young

Throwing the ring in was said to be literally impossible by Tolkien. It accidentally falling in was the only way. Sam could not have held it. Tolkien was very adamant that Frodo is a hero and tried his best.

Adam Young

Unfortunately it permanently changes him and he cannot rest at home. So it’s good Sam never held the ring. Frodo sacrificed himself.

animaechan

yeah i don't think you should worry so much about my first time reaction where i am clearly in my feels, just bc I don't have the "right" opinion on whether or not the chara is as heroic as you'd like me to perceive them

Jack Shadow

Ehm, Tolkienn never talked about making his books into movies, he died at old age at 1970-th, when even industry was far away from creating something like this movies.

Jack Shadow

No worries :D I commented this, case I was confused, when heared how chat leaded you to wrong conclusions. Anyway, now you know :D
