They couldnt have a Plan for a Hole in the Wall, since that was the first Time ever someone in Middle Earth used Black Powder, and build Bombs with which they can detonate a Massive Hole into a Massive Stonewall. They dont even knew about this Type of Science since Saruman used his Knowledge as a Maiar ^^

I’m pretty sure they mentioned in the movie though that “the only weakness is…” and that’s when they showed the “hole” down there and said something more about it being a sewage system or a drain (I don’t really remember) so still it seems to me that they could’ve been better prepared for an army of thousands to target their weak spot. Regardless, it was in the heat of the battle so saying things retrospectively while emotional about a huge fight while people is dying shouldn’t be taken too seriously ^^

When the Elves came to honor their alliance I think I saw watery eyes. So add LOTR to the list of shows that made Kayla cry. Tears of joy count right. lol

SADLY tearing up doesn’t count 😭 otherwise I would have a lot more names on my list of shows that made me cry. But damn this really got me in my feels! I didn’t expect it with just 2 movies but it’s just so good!!

I really love this trilogy. There are such good moments in all three movies and even after "all this time" it's still looking awesome in my opinion. When the films came out i even bought the soundtrack CDs and still own them. In addition, King Theoden will always be one of my favorite support/side characters. When he speaks to gandalf at his sons grave it really effects me and I feel like crying. Dunno why it hits so hard. And his speach is so good. When Treebeard said "only few of us are left" or something like that and you said "make more babies" I thought to myself: "You should have watched the extended edition". This would have been answered there! :D In general I think the extended add a few great scenes in Movie 2 and 3. Still loving the reaction but after hearing you heard the spoiler i was saddened. Why are people doing this? Man was looking forward to see your surprise and even the comments on patreon or discord seemed to be clear of something like that. Hope you will have fun with movie 3. (2 is still my favorite though) :)

I think you can read about the hostility between Rohan and the Dunlendings(not sure about the spelling) in the appendix of the triology.And if you want to know more of the History of Rohan you should get the book unfinished tales it has a few chapters about them.
