Just a heads up avoid watching the openings from now on because they show a lot of spoilers, with and without context. Also Führer is a German word meaning "leader" or "guide" but can be looked into deeper when mentioned in wars as a certain someone was named the 'der Fuhrer'.

I personally prefer openings and endings of the 2003 version of Fullmetal Alchemist. I hope you will react to them one day!

How did you like Ed? Btw, Ed is 15 and Al is 14. ,Ed became a state alchemist at 12, that examination scene was from 3 years ago as they did the human transmutation a year before that. DVD subtitles say atheist instead of areligious. It is kind of ironic Ed said that, because he basically met "God" or the "Truth" in the previous episode.

Kayla, I love your reaction on one of my most favorites anime and can't wait to see more from you :D I believe that you will love this anime, and will enjoy whole jorney here. What I like here mostly is atmosphere and MC who is not just loudly kid, who screaming about his dreams. Edward saw real shit in his life, and he is not that optimistic...he is just continue to walk, to move...not just staying on place. Also uniqueness of this story you will see a bit later. So yeah, FMAB and D.Gray Man are my favorites anime, which has a lot of simmilarity between. And I'm really glad that you finally started to watch at least one of them.

I'm so glad that you finally react FMAB!! It really is a masterpiece. But the story is altered for animation so I definitely recommend you to read Manga! It has complete different face and fascination in Manga:) You'll like it!

Sad to see u watch the sub as the dub is the best dub ever made. The voices are to soft for most of the meaningfull characters.

It is still her own Decision, and she said numerous Times that she prefers Japanese Dub over English Dub. And that we should accept it, and People who dont like it dont have to watch her Reactions. So pls Respect her Wish.

One of the few shows there the english dub is better than the japanese one. The japanese dub is still very good.

I mean I saw the 2003 version first as well, but brotherhood is just objectively better and more faithful to the actual story. To the credit of the 2003 version, the movie "conquerers of shambalah" was a lot better than the movies associated with brotherhood "sacred star of milos" and the other one.
