I love that u watch this. lord of the rings is a cinema master piece for it’s time especially all the work and amazing effort they put in to the whole thing it really is a primer example of what all movies should be

Can Arabacıoğlu

"do they have wifi ?" that rolled me XD

stressbean

LOTR adn Tolkens universe is such a cinematic master piece. It is honestly the greatest trilogy out there

DarkPirateKing

i'm confident there will not be another trilogy that comes closes to this.. ever. I've always been really disappointed in book to movie adaptations, since they didn't match my imagination, the character designs/personalities, locations etc. always fell flat compared to my expectations. LOTR was the first and so far only one that matched or surpassed it. OBVIOUSLY a lot of things had to be skipped/edited/abridged, but in general, yes. looking forward to the reaction. keep up the good work and thx for the effort!

"He turned him into a horse" will never not be funny to me.

I read somewhere that Tolkien's inspiration for Rivendell was Lauterbrunnen Valley. I guess because of the many waterfalls and the steep walls. So you can actually go to "Rivendell" and I am sure they have Wifi there.

If you watch the 2nd and 3rd Movie, you should definitly try to look out for the Extended Edition, they give some more Material and nice Extra Scenes ( for the 3rd Movie alone, i think the Extra Scenes make the Movie 30 to 45 Minutes longer) ^^

Haven't seen the reaction yet but i hope you enjoyed it and you will watch the rest of the trilogy. (Doesn't have to be the extended editions imo). Still blows my mind that being born in the 90s you hadn't watched it before. This is the best movie trilogy of all time hands down(I am looking at you Godfather Part 3 u piece of shit 😛) Hopefully you can do some more reactions in the future of classic movies like these. Cheers!!!

WAGMI

Sorry to ask, but why do you call Boromir - "Ned" ?

donald johnson

my favorite set of movies ever. so happy your doing these

animaechan

lol when i was younger i couldn't sit still long enough to watch a movie like this, and then by the time i was older i was already behind on the first two so i didn't feel the hype for the third. Tried to read the hobbit when i was like... 16, maybe? but it was a bit of a "laborious" read (although I did like the story) and then idk i just never had the time until now :D

im curious but how does one sponsor something to be viewed?

Raul Iggynashow

When Kayla said "just PUSH him into the fire." I know what Kayla would have done if she were on the glass bridge playing Squid Games. Hahahaha

Lol it was good but evryones glorifying it! It had many errors and is not close to the books.

Benjamin Hütz

Sauron = Night King Gandalf = Dumbledore Frodo/Sam = Harry/Ron Nazgul = Dementors Boromir = Ned Did I forget someone?

Chandler

As to why Elrond didn't just push Isildur into the fire with the ring... There're essays written and recorded about it, but it could be summed up in two main points: no one was fully aware of how dangerous the ring really was and how key would eventually become for Sauron's survival and comeback later on; and if Elrond would in fact had pushed Isildur into the fire, it might've caused an open war between elves and men for who knows how long. Besides, AFAIK, that was a movie only scene, it was never stated if they went together to Mt. Doom.

Wait is this the first movie I’ve never actually seen any of the movies

animaechan

Yes it’s fellowship of the ring, two towers and then last “the return of the king” 💕

Im a bit late on this reaction. So I watched all 3 in theaters and you asked how did we sit through all 3 hrs and mentioned going to the bathroom. My local cinema had a 15 minute intermission for people to get up and get refills and go to the bathroom. 15 minutes due to making sure all 300+ patrons were able to have time to leave and come back. Not all theaters did this but some, like my local theater, did.
