Great movies! the best part was the purring cat during the second movie 11/10 would watch again

glad you watched this and that you enjoyed it, personally I would have recommended the original animated series since I felt it loses quite a bit of its charm in the remastered movies. I could just be biased though, Initial D First Stage was my first anime ever, and car culture is very big in my area so I was naturally drawn to the series. My main gripes with the remaster: 1. Takumi seems way more inept than the original series, the original series really makes sure to establish that Takumi isn't dumb or inept, he's just indifferent and lacks passion 2. They changed some of the real iconic scenes, they really missed when Takumi first passed Keisuke, Keisuke says "Doesn't he know this road?" then it leads into the legendary line "NANI??? KANSEI DORIFTO??" 3. No Eurobeat was by far the biggest travesty, there's a reason why Running in the 90s is so iconic for this series I won't deny though that the original series is a little rough to watch since the animation style is VERY dated, so maybe watching the remaster first was a good call

Time to switch back to Drive. I've used Daily for a long time now (to watch this kind of content) and i don't mind supporting the site, but when i get two back to back ads very five minutes or something, it's just too much.

Yeah as I explained in a previous post, I have no idea how to switch it off since the site literally removed the monetisation option and everything is now monetised by default. That’s why I usually do GD and streamable as well (especially for the more watched shows) so y’all have the option
