PS. I was questioning some things in the episode, but afterwards I think I made it make sense to me (about why the author chose to include certain scenes). In movies with real actors, when kids fall or get hurt, you know it's not real, so there's no need to worry. Sexualizing REAL children in movies is still real children being sexualized though (so that is another story for another day lol)... 

But these kids are not real and the main reason (as I said in the video) that the author (probably) chose to use kids in this story, is because of their innocence. The certain scenes I mentioned above - they are included probably because these are the things kids at 12 do? E.g. Reg wondering about his body, Riko not really understanding yet that as a girl, her body is different from that of a boy and she shouldn't just walk around naked or whatever. 

I mean, I still don't think it's necessary for the story... Except in Reg's case, because he's wondering about who and what he is. But I was just overthinking it a lot in the reactions so I wanted to get clear about it in my head. I think it's important to at least question these things (instead of becoming desensitized, as someone else mentioned).
