I sadly have to agree with the "not impressed" assessment. It feels like a cliff notes version of the story at this point with no time to breath between scenes. I have to say though that I am very much looking forward to the "OSOREZAN REVOIR" part. One of my favorite moments in manga chapter history :)

The one thing I liked about the older anime version (never read the manga) was the charming cast. So I was excited to see the manga content animated but sadly many of the characters feel much emptier. I think this has to do with the mentioned lack of breathing space.

I understand why you put this show on pause for now! I watched the OG Shaman King not the whole series but I'm still gonna watch it beacuse I really want to see how they gonna do the fights and future events for it! and KT don't force yourself to watch it until it's gets better feedback like "Oh shit!! Shaman King is really HYPE NOW!" "KT you should pick up Shaman King again it's getting really good now!!" or something like that! P.S I loved your reaction to the beaver"s balls! XDD but they could have censored it or something...
