I’ve been creating YouTube videos for more than 3 years now and I never used to care about doing what other people wanted to see. I just wanted create content I enjoy and I knew the right people would enjoy it with me. I still feel that way most of the time, but in the last few months (maybe like four or so?) I’ve started to feel just a little frustrated.

i try and do a lot of different things so there’s something for everyone (but ofc it’s stuff I enjoy too) but I feel frustrated because I put my all into what I do and do my best to connect with people on a more personal level, and yet sometimes I compare myself to other creators and think, if I just focused on the most popular stuff, maybe I could grow at the same pace as they do.

trust me, I realize that it’s dumb to compare myself to others - there will ALWAYS be someone faster, smarter, prettier, richer, bigger, better etc. im not here to cry and ask for compliments to make myself feel better lol or for advice, I just want to be honest with y’all. the only one that knows what is right for me is ME :) 

my way of doing things might not be the best, but I appreciate the kind of people it has brought into my inner community, the kind of people I talk to often in streams and see hanging around in discord 😋 y’all make it worth it
