I love Luffy so much, he doesn’t have to be smart. As long as he protects his friends & follows his moral compass, that we all have. I stayed awake for these epsiodes!! xD I didn't think people would be "disappointed" until you mentioned it, because I thoroughly enjoyed your reaction - imo it doesn't get better than the genuine surprise/shock/disbelief you showed!! And thank God you weren't spoiled on this golden moment! I've been crossing my fingers that you'd get to this moment "safely" lmao. There's one point you mentioned that I think is important - as you said, racism against white people is very much possible.The definiton says it's "discrimination against anyone based on their race [..] typically against minority." People should learn the difference between racism and institutional racism.

When I started watching One Piece, I never thought this kind of topics would come out; but at the same time it's why I ended up loving the series. An anime about a pirate who's also a rubberman, felt so real. It's hard to see you suffer through the topics on this arc, but that shows you really care about what happens. Anyway, there's a lot to unpack: new characters, new topics, a lot of history and government sidestories happening at the same time. Hope you're really hyped up about everything going on and what's about to happen in the One Piece universe after these episodes.

I think Nami got there first because once the Flying Fish Riders picked them all up, they would have been flying around all over Sabaody checking the various auction houses and places where world nobles can buy slaves. Robin must've flown a longer distance away from the right place than Nami did once Usopp got the intel and it got announced over the radio..

Did she mentioned in episode 397, when the Tenryubito Princess was KOed a certain word that beginne with H? That is something that only comes later on in Explanations, could this be One of the things that i read where she got Spoiled? If thats the case, i really hope whoever Spoiled you no matter what Else it is, that he gets an Luffy like Punch and learns flying like the Fatass Tenryubito...

I loved your reaction to luffy's punch! You said many would be disappointed so i had to write this down. If i would live alone and there were nobody wo wake up at 4:30am i would scream like all in haikyu! Did season 3 episode 4 lol! I saw this scene probably 20 times and this is how hyped i got again!! One Piece is my top 1 anime i love everything about it i could cryy damn it🤣 okay okay lets calm down myself.. your expression said everything so i really liked your reaction stay real i don't understand why people like this overdramatic overkill scream for your ears xD i hope you will grow more and more to the crew while watching one piece there are a few hundred episodes to go😋 i will probably watch it all again on my own when you're caught up! Damn, tears fell from my eyes during Hachi speech damn this was emotional! Also i love how you questioned Luffy's actions even on first watch, and the topic about when people act based on emotions, yeah we know he was trying to do a good thing but there is also collateral damage and other people getting hurt too, it was really interesting, no one is perfect and we make mistakes even when we try to do things with the best intentions. Oh the spoiler is not about haki... as far as i know she learned about it when shanks displayed his on WB ship, but if someone talked more than they should in those episodes i don't know xd. She said something about this during the duval arc, check her "safe" thoughts on the episodes ;)

ussop is the best character in one piece fight me if people want to :p . Now coming to the episodes it is just so sad to actually think that all of the things we are seeing in this arc is actually real and happens in real life. Racism and slave trading is still a thing and is very much prevalent. As an Indian to all of the countries I have gone on a vacation to except kenya I have faced racism in every single one of them and its so messed up. It was not racism based on colour but people taunting things like "beggar" just cos I come from a third world country(not going into the full details) and then people making fun of hinduism which is the religion most of us follow here. Its just so frustrating and sad sometimes that people like this still exist in the 21st century :( .

i love that you brought up a different debate that other reactors didnt. At this time of the story, right after the punch, everybody celebrated it, because its one of the most satisfying moments in the series, of course its great and deserved, but you ask a real question: Did Luffy just brought more harm than good in this scene? I would say yes. I would say without him doing this things would have worked out better for them considering Hachi got shot and Rayleigh was gonna break out and Save Camie anyway.

Luffy's arrival at the auction and immediately yelling at the driver and Zoro totally changed the vibe of the whole thing. Luffy came in like a breath of fresh air... I love that whole encounter there. From the arrival to the punch... SO GOOD. Loved your reaction too. Also for the remainder of OP we will refer to those people as Celestial Dickheads :) I'm getting into the 4th episode now, and I wanted to say I was not at all disappointed by your reaction. I can tell some of the issues this arc covers affect you a bit more than myself so I don't really have any expectations. Your reaction is already so raw and real because of how invested you are and how much you care about these world issues. I wish you didn't have to worry about what people expect from your reactions... Thank you for all the hard work. Absolutely love this channel :)

Just watched the first reaction and the end reminded me of the whole Epstein thing that’s going on currently, it’s pretty crazy to think about. Oda’s story telling is definitely on another level it applies real world problems/situations into his world and makes you think about it.

They should rename this The Hype Arc. I know you are always worried about spoilers, and it is sad that you have been spoiled on some amazing events. But don't worry One Piece is so great and vast there will always be moments you don't have spoilt like Luffy punching the Celestial Dragon etc.

But be prepared, one day we're going to fight for that ! :p It's "funny" what you say about how people react to you and you're religion, because I'm like a 100% atheist, but i like to know about different religion and in my opinion, hinduism ( and other like Buddhism and shintoism ) is very interesting, with all the stories and all the deities. This arcs is going to be hard to discuss with everyone. While everyone is in agreement about slavery is a bad thing, everyone have different experiences and values. Having a civil discussion is going to be tough.

The Tenryubuta are the proof that you don't need to be complex or charismatic to be a great villain. Charlos and Spandam are among my favorite bad guys from OP because I love to hate them and the moment they get what they deserve is incredibly cathartic.
