the scene with brook is so good in the english dub. His english VA is amazing; you should check it out some time. In regards to the animation/art in 367, that's Inoue with his bubbly faces. You might remember him from the merry funeral episode. Also I'm glad you've finally met some of my favorite key animators in the anime. The docking scene was animated by Yoshikaku Tomita and the kick from Sanji was animated by Naotoshi Shida. Shida is a fan favorite who is responsible for some really memorable scenes coming up. Tomita doesn't show up very often during this portion of the anime, but later on he shows up during my favorite arc as one of the main action animators.

I´m pretty sure the one animating the PeronaxUsopp 20 seconds impresive animation is Yoshikazu Tomita the same that did the docking animation. I think he starts animating scenes at the end of Enies Lobby and continues to this day. His character art is fairly recognizable with the shadows and "mecha-like" action scenes, loves doing the transformation animations. To be fair I think the opinion of his work among the fans is divided, some like it but many others don´t.

Hello! Hello! <3 I really enjoyed today's reactions, especially the scenes where the Mugiwara were working as a team and Robin's hilarious reaction to Docking haha. I like to see them fight together, combining their power and creativity. That's what I like so much about the last chapter. In addition to the presence of another Shichibukai. Tan tan taaaaan! And regarding the Luffy and Moria crew, I have always compared it with this expression: Not only their quantity matters, but also the quality. I do not know if I am saying it correctly, but the truth (for me) is that the strength of the Mugiwara lies in the fidelity, the camaraderie, the inspiration that they have for each one and not only seek to fulfill their own goals, but they share them with their crew. That is what makes them better. That is the "quality" of the crew. Thanks for this great reaction. And I wish you the BEST of the best in the move. That everything goes very well. And congratulations again on this step that you will take. Despite being part of the community for a short time, I am really very happy for you. I send you hugs and good vibes! ٩(^ᴗ^)۶

There is no valid explanation, Robin´s powers became very inconsistent sometimes... she goes from being an expert killer to a support character, and sometimes even less than that.

I just recently learned about a website, "One Pace", that has re-edited the anime to match the pace of the manga, aparently reducing the number of episodes to 450 or something like that. I think it might be something to consider from this arc onwards, since the pacing really starts to get bad and the things they do to stretch things out get ridiculous. I don't mind too much, because I just zone out the shit since the story is so good, but I thought I'd mention it in case you're interested.

FYI the godly animation in ep 367 when sanji kicked Oz is done by Shida, u'll be seeing a lot of his work after Thriller bark arc

Woah, thanks for the shoutout KT! :D I wasn't expecting it, but it made me smile ^_^ And you pronounced my last name correctly, which doesn't happen often despite how simple it is, so that's snazzy~ I look forward to watching the review video! All I can safely say about the inconsistencies in Robin's strength is that they've been exacerbated some by the anime adaptation trying to draw out the episode length and pad for time. I don't remember it seeming so egregious in the manga, and the last time I watched this arc was a while ago so I didn't recall it was this bad. I love Thriller Bark as a whole, but its pacing in the anime leaves something to be desired.... Good luck to you, Hanco, and all the kitties (if they're coming with you) during the big move! <3

I don't really like this arc, and the inconsistencies in Robin's strength as well as the slower pacing are two of the reasons for it. I do like the last part of the arc though.

i thought they did great with robin personally, the wings, the catching zoro, holding oars in a half nelson, the only place she lacked was getting caught by the spider rats (which isn't bad on her since they could catch the monster trio as well) and "losing" to the sanji zoro zombies (but she doesn't compare to either of them in any category outside of utilty abilities) SHE SHINED TO ME. 4TH most imprressive IMO

Robin no docking with the rest of the crew, is probably the biggest anime betrayal ever XD <3 <3 I was as disappointed as Oz at that point.
