the small girl on the big chubby dudes shoulder is actually from filler that you skipped (from the opening )

KaitouLuminous

Human, zombie or anything in between Zoro and Sanji can't help fighting with each other

I love the technique, that Zoro used to ignite the final slash on the zombie, Ryuma’s body. He earned this legendary upgrade!

Anonymous

The way i see it Zoro saying"Let's pretend this duel never happened" is because Zoro knew he was fighting a zombie of a legendary samurai but because he was fighting with Brook's shadow and not the original living soul/shadow that meant the opponent wasn't at his strongest form. Brook is not weak but just the fact that Ryuuma can make his slashes fly because of his samurai body and Brook can't in his own body shows the big power difference between Brook and Ryuuma when he was alive. And Zoro even said "i wish i could have fought u while u were still alive". He knows that would have been a much tougher and exciting duel.

animaechan

thanks! hopefully I'll get time in the future to react to those. But I'm more interested in doing the rest of the movies for right now

Chandler

Yeah, the way I took it was just that Zoro wasn't exactly fighting against the samurai Ryuma, but against a stronger version of Brook. So, for Zoro, it probably wouldn't be fair to state he defeated Ryuma.

I feel like every Zoro's fight is meaningful and makes him stronger. Unlike Sanji....His fights are just boring and don't have a perfect match....

The amazing thriller bark is approaching, but I think these episodes are enjoyable :D

Kuroashi

"KT, want to see this fun anime about pirates?" 360+ episodes later: "Yeah... but, what it means to be alive though?" Hahaha, Hope you're loving this arc so far...

I'm not 100% sure but I think, Zoro took Ryuma's sword by defeating Brooks Shadow, that's why he said "let's pretend this fight never happened"

I really liked the name of your pirate crew! It's super eye-catching (I don´t know if this adjective is correct in this context haha ) and I think it fits well in the One Piece world. Besides the two characters are great, they have a badass look. What an exciting project! ٩ (● ᴗ ●) ۶ And I died laughing with the "Robin alien" hahaha. I enjoyed your reactions. Thank you for your effort and hard work

"What are they, laminated?" XD Perhaps echoing the sentiments of previous comments, I take Zoro's "let's pretend this duel never happened" comment as targeted more at the original Ryuma than the zombie. I imagine he knew that this legendary, supposedly honorable samurai would have been dismayed that Moria was touting this bastardized version of him as one of his ace fighters, subservient and botched, and Zoro is agreeing not to honor this act of Moria's to let Ryuma rest in peace. Also, it occurred to me when you questioned why Inuppe and Jigoro would still fight each other even though Sanji's zombie is now willing to hit women: ideals probably fade before inherent personality types as far as zombies are concerned. Ideals are more often learned or synthesized from one's life experiences, whereas latent personalities (and how they clash with other incompatible ones) might be more strongly anchored to a soul/shadow. Just a guess~ The stuff with Cindry freezing up emotionally has never made a *whole* lot of sense to me either, but it's a cool scene nonetheless. When you asked "if you humanize her now, wouldn't that mean Hogback succeeded in giving her life?", it brought to mind that sometimes, it could be interesting to entertain the scenario where the protagonist's viewpoint might not be right after all, and the villain earns an ideological triumph for once. Not saying it's the case here, it's just a general statement that your question made me think of. The good guy needn't always be right, after all.

NocLucii

When u wondered or joked probably (paraphrasing here) "so is Sanji's will to compete or to fight is stronger than his belief to never hurt a woman?" I believe the situation here was more of that their zombies were ordered by Hogback to get rid of "nuisances" so they immediately did that, only problem was that the order was a bit vague. Because when Zoro Zombie(ZZ) attacked Chopper & Robin he also accidentally hit Sanji Zombie(SZ) in the process, thus SZ deemed him to be a nuisance* too. And then ZZ deemed SZ to be a nuisance also when SZ struck back and so on and so forth. So they were really just have been following orders the whole time (but ofc with their usual bickering/bantering sprinkled over it) 😆 Don't want or mean to sound a bit fansplain-y if it sounded like that but just wanted to add my 2cents bout it ✌😅

In episode 363 you clearly knew that there was a flashback. So it must mean you watch the episodes in advance. it can't possibly mean that you understand storytelling. lol

animaechan

Wait I’m not sure what you mean. It’s clear that Ryuma gave Zoro the sword. What does that have to do with what he said?

animaechan

He’s a genius after all :) I didn’t say he wasn’t allowed to succeed ;)

Every mob zombie says "Kusare Yabee" which means "This is very dangerous". haha "Kusaru" means "rot" so they're using the term as adjectives and saying "This is rotten dangerous" lol

Clyper

Have you already seen how Chopper strokes Zoros hair in the opening? It is in the beginning where we see them the first time :D I love it to see that haha

RiShinMarco

364: Do you know how strong your leg bones are? They aren't moving they just have to hold the weight. And bevor your bones are breaking (with weight from above!) your muscle tissue rips apart. But they aren't really needed for holding the weight. But at the end of the day it is all just anime and the creators freedom.

animaechan

Yah sure all I’m saying is I wish there were some more consistency in terms of what robin is capable of

SomeoneElse

This arc picks up quite a bit from this point on. It's a real struggle for me getting through the earlier parts lol. I'm glad to finally be here. Thanks for all the hard work KT!
