I’ve currently got 2 theories about him killing one of his previous divine instruments. The first one, I already told you during the stream. Nora might have killed one and Yato is just getting the blame for it. In which case, he should probably explain that to the Bishamon lady so she stops trying to kill him. My second theory is that one of his previous divine instruments committed suicide for whatever reason. This could still leave the blame with Yato, but it could also explain his complicated views on suicide. This one seems less likely for me for some reason, but it would make for an incredibly emotional flashback episode. These episodes were great, from that preview on the last episode, it seems like we’re getting an emotional episode for Yato and Yukine next week, so that’s gonna be great.

I don't mind the question (for those who responded before, I deleted other replies so that anyone else wondering about this could see my response, too). I do think you could have DM'd me about it, however, or asked about it on the Discord, since in this post I specifically ask not to ask about other anime on posts which is not about that anime. Ignoring that does seem kind of disrespectful, also, you do not "trigger someone's insecurity". That's not how anxiety works :) but okay. Anyway, I post weekly reactions to the following: - One Piece (a minimum of 4 episodes, mostly more) - Naruto ( 3 - 4 episodes) - Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (usually 4+ episodes) - Noragami (2 or more episodes) - Sword Art Online (usually 3 or more episodes) - March Comes in Like a Lion (2 or more episodes) - Gintama (2 or more episodes) - Magical Index/Railgun (minimum of 4 episodes per month) This list does not even include the bonus content, like occasional seasonal shows (e.g. Haikyu, Fruits Basket), OVAs (like the One Punch Man OVAs I recently posted), and sometimes movies too (like the One Piece movies, Akira, The Girl that Leapt Through Time etc). If you are unhappy with this amount of content that you get for $3 (I double checked and made sure how much you are pledging), then I'm sorry, but I'm not adding anything else.

Maybe you already know, but anyway, yukine shares the same voice actor as someone from one punch man, even though their voices seem different

Yukine just needs some help, in my opinion. The kind of situation he is in basically destroys most people.

I don't think he "just needs some help". If that were the case, Hiyori taking him in, treating him with love and kindness and trying to teach him right from wrong would or should have been enough. He needs to want to change too. And sometimes that desire for change only comes about after a lot of suffering/struggle.

From what I can tell, when Bishamon says "how dare you" it's mistranslated. At least, when Yato cuts her lion regalia, the direct translation of "kisama" would have been "YOU!" So given the context of the situation, it should have been translated to something along the lines of "you bastard" or "damn you." It's kind of unfortunate that they translated it that way because, like you said, it makes it seem like she's upset that he's retaliating at all rather than upset at his abilities and the way the fight is going.
