OMG! Hinata was SO great in this episode! Loved watching it live with everyone :) If I can do the same thing next week, I will. But I usually watch this on Fridays (when I don't stream) so I don't know if I'll be able to xx

I’m loving this season so far, and after reading this whole arc again, I’m excited for what’s coming up. One issue for me though is how slow everything seems during the matches. I can’t tell if it’s a change in animation style or a change in director, but a lot of things just seem a lot slower and lack a lot of impact. The white haired kids’ spike was awesome looking, but there’s a few different scenes so far that just looked ‘off’ to me. Like when Hinata was first learning the split step, he said “this is an intense serve”, but then when it cut to the libiro receiving it, it seemed incredibly weak, it didn’t really have any impact for me. My main hope right now is that, if it is a budget issue, they might be saving their budget for the actual national matches. So I’m hoping they look great, because they were so fun to read again in the manga. But, as usual this show is incredibly good with the character interactions and character development. So even if the animation isn’t as enjoyable for me, this arc is still great because of the amount of great character development. Sorry if this comment seems very negative, it’s just literally the first issue I have found with this show so far and it is not nearly a big enough issue to ruin the show for me. Just wanted to see whether people agree or disagree with me about the new style.

I love the "slow" pace; i think it's great for the character development. i could easily have more than half the season be about this training camp if it means hinata will become super boss
