Are you going to be reacting to the two OVAs that are coming out later this month? Not sure if Crunchyroll or something will stream it but I don't doubt that there will be fansubs eventually. It's all canon and is chronologically before the events of season 4 so it'd be good to watch it even if it's in your own time :) Also, Ukai's last line in episode 8 was actually Kazunari Tanaka's last line as Ukai since he passed away :( Really impactful final line if you ask me.

“Farewell, my paradise” is probably my favorite line from the series. (Tendo is such a great character I hope we see more of him🙂)

I would prefer that you don’t do timer reactions, because it’s seems like you have much more fun and understand stuff better when you can replay scenes. But I guess there’s no good way to do YouTube videos apart from timer reactions if you don’t have the time to edit them, so I don’t really know.

And here is your volleyball rules instructor ;) The line judges have flags to indicate if a ball is in or out. If he lifts up, then it is out. If he bows it down, then it is in. The main referee at the side of the net can overturn the decision if he thinks it has been misjudged. The main referee can also show a gesture of touching the net. It indicates that a player has touched the net. Also, to indicate who wins the point, the main referee shortly whistle and stretch the arm at the direction of the winning team :) That might help you for season 4 ;) And I will eternally regret the death of Ukai's seiyuu. What a voice actor ! "Volleyball is a sport where you are always looking up!"

It was nice watching again this anime with you for a fresh reminder before season 4!! Thanks :) Tobio being my fav, I wish of course too more character development/individual focus, but also, I would like to see him play more (or spend time more) with others players, from karasuno & outside. (even if I know the show like their pairings^^) Like I love his scenes with tsuki!! Sometimes his character feels a little "stuck" with Hinata. So can't wait for S4 & the training camp!! Also, wasn't it the last tournament for the third years? Wondering what's going to happen with them in season 4.

can they really go to nationals without them tho? I think it would've been their last tournament had they lost... But I think the same team that won gets to go to the "next round" if that makes sense. At least I hope so!

Yeah the voice actor did change, sadly Kazunari Tanaka passed away. On the haikyuu s3 soundtrack, the opening track is Kazunari Tanaka yelling one of his last lines "Volley ball is a sport where your always looking up!".
